Unless you have a time machine, visiting a real speakeasy is something you won't be able to tick off your bucket list -- at least not one that illegally serves booze in a prohibition-era America. While you'll never know the thrill of drinking questionable bathtub gin underground with the constant threat of a police raid, you can enjoy an evening that gives a nod to an era of hidden entrances, secret passwords and Pittsburgh’s many beer barons.
Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is pleased to host - Speakeasy: A Night of Spirits - a fundraising event to help individuals of all ages who face physical, mental, emotional, and/or intellectual disabilities, as well as their families.
Guests will have the ability to step back in time to an exhilarating era of flappers, bootleggers and temperance workers all while supporting Easterseals' life-changing programs and services. Speakeasy: A Night of Spirits will be held in Pittsburgh's Deutschtown neighborhood on November 4, 2021.
